Our Story
Elite Medical Aesthetics was born out of a dream to help people to look and feel their best, by combining the best of modern medicine, technology, and cutting edge treatments with holistic, basic foundational wellness. We are a small practice with a single provider: Shawn Whitfield, FNP-C.
In today’s medical landscape, treatments you can get from your doctor are often dictated by what the insurance will pay for, and that treatment is usually the same treatment everyone else with that particular issue receives. There is no customization or personalization, and often the things that truly help the most are the things doctors don’t have time to address with you. Medications are prescribed that come with significant side effects that we either learn to tolerate, or we stop treatment.
We feel there is a better way and we strive to bring that to you every day. Taking the time to get to know you and address your particular concerns with a custom treatment plan. We continuously follow up with you to ensure you are seeing the results you desire. As a Nurse Practitioner, I can combine the best of medicine with the best of aesthetics and holistic wellness to produce amazing results while ensuring safe treatments.
Aesthetic medicine is often looked down upon as being only for the vain, self-centered, and narcissistic in our society. I disagree. Helping a teenager with severe acne have clear skin, helping a couple who’s relationship is suffering because of sexual dysfunction, helping the professional to look and perform their best for clients; these are just a few ways in which people’s lives can truly be changed for the better. There is nothing wrong with wanting to look better, feel better, and be better each day.
Come and see us. Our consultations are always free and come with no-obligation. We strive to give you excellent and personal service, a location where both men and women will feel comfortable, and the absolute best care possible.
